I've been a teacher and an avid listener/advice-giver for years. I read constantly and research everything to formulate knowledgeable decisions in everyday life. I quietly question everything and always have to get 2nd and 3rd opinions. I've come to realize with experience that no one knows everything, but collectively, we know a lot. Some of my interests include cooking, crocheting, jewelry-making, gardening, dog-training, weight-loss, healthy eating, parenting, raising grades, bullying, owning a business, motivating employees, advertising, nature, plants, habitats, and the list goes on...This forum is a great venue for me, and I feel a sense of accomplishment with each published hub.
My professsional experience includes twelve years teaching elementary school-age children and successful small-business ownership for eight years. As hobbies, I enjoy making jewelry, crocheting, and gardening. I have a Master's in Teaching, an English major, am currently working on a Library Media Specialist endorsement, and have a huge love for literature and mathematics.
